These tours offer a glimpse of what it takes to keep the aquarium operating. You will visit areas off-limits to the general public and learn from knowledgeable guides about the life support systems and animal care practices. You will also witness an animal feeding.
The tour lasts approximately 90 minutes and involves walking, as well as climbing a flight of stairs to view the top of our Passages of the Deep exhibit. We can accommodate visitors in wheel chairs with advance notice. Behind the scenes tours take place every day from Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day weekend.
