Where do seahorses live?
Seahorses live near shore in relatively shallow, complicated habitats. Complicated habitats have lots of stuff in them--stuff to hold onto, hide behind or blend in to. That stuff might be eelgrass, kelp, coral, rocks, mangrove roots, etc. To keep a seahorse happy, these complicated habitats should be in tropical or temperate seas. Finally, seahorses like it salty. As far as we know, there are no freshwater seahorses.
