How much do they eat?
People are often surprised to learn that seahorses eat almost all day long. They suck up prey as fast as 360 brine shrimp per hour. Since seahorses have no stomachs, food passes very quickly through their systems. Just imagine--if you were a seahorse you would spend nearly 12 hours of your day finding or eating food!
