Bony Fish

Fish species that have adapted to thrive among the special challenges of Oregon's diverse coastal habitats, from its rugged rocky shores to calmer sandy beaches and open ocean waters are exhibited. These adaptations range from the pipefish, which almost perfidy matches and hides amidst eel grass, to the spotted ratfish, which can see in dark, deep water because of its large eyes.
