The Oregon Coast Aquarium is home to more than 15,000 invertebrates, fishes, birds and marine mammals. With so many mouths to feed, it is not surprising that the Aquarium has a hefty food bill. It costs up to $15,000 a year just to feed one of our sea otters! You can help us provide for the care and feeding of the Aquarium's living collection by sponsoring an animal for one year through
Adoption has never been so easy! You select the animal you would like to sponsor from our list and choose the gift level at which you wish to participate. In return for your donation, we will send you or your gift recipient the sponsorship package that accompanies that particular gift level.
The
Animal sponsorships make great gifts to celebrate birthdays and holidays and
are a perfect choice for those friends or relatives who have everything.
Sponsorship gifts also have the added advantage of giving both the gift giver
and the recipient the satisfaction of knowing they are helping to provide
quality food and the best possible care for all the Aquarium's animals.
Sponsorship packages at the $100 gift level and above include a coupon for a
plush sea otter redeemable at the Aquarium's gift shop. If you or your gift
recipient is unable to visit the Aquarium to claim the toy, we can send the
plush directly to you or your designee. There is a $6.00 shipping and handling
fee for this service.
Check with your company's human resources department to find out if it has a matching gift program and if your contribution qualifies under this program. If so, request a matching gift form, fill it out and send it to the Aquarium with your Adopt an Animal donation.
The Oregon Coast Aquarium is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, and contributions to the Aquarium are tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law.
